Achievements / Results

  1. Cash Distribution:
    • Distributed cash to 217 IDP households (1,323 individuals) through Shabelle Bank, with each household receiving ETB 5,992.
    • The distribution included 508 men, 416 women, 231 boys, and 168 girls.

Impact Summary

    • 85% of beneficiaries utilized the cash assistance for essential needs, primarily on food (75%), as well as medicine, clothing, and debt repayment.
    • 91% of respondents affirmed that the cash assistance was timely and significantly improved their household well-being, addressing immediate needs and enhancing resilience.
