Achievements / Results

  1. Improved Monitoring Coverage:
    • Achieved 90% coverage of Health Centers and Food Distribution Centers (FDCs) across the 21 woredas in the Somali Region, aligned with WFP standards.
  1. Improved Data Quality and Reporting:
    • Utilized digital tools (tablets) to collect high-quality, accurate, and timely data for food distribution points (FDPs), TSFP interventions, and program performance.
  1. Community and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Facilitated collaboration between CAAP, TSFP implementing partners, WFP, local authorities, and the community, enabling better communication, faster issue resolution, and program transparency.

Impact Summery

The program significantly enhanced monitoring coverage, improved program performance insights, and ensured timely risk identification. This ultimately contributed to better Nutritional Outcomes for 247,728 beneficiaries, including 210,569 women and 37,159 men.
