The leadership team drives evidence-based decision-making and fosters partnerships to ensure the effectiveness of all programs. CEO

Hussien Farah

Appointed by the Board, overseas the overall management and daily operations of the organization.

Program Manager – Food Assistance & Cash-Based Transfers (CBT)

Abdulahi Sheik Tahir

Leads the design, implementation, and monitoring & evaluation of Food Assistance, Cash-Based Transfer programs, including Vulnerability-Based Targeting and Digital Registration systems.

Project Manager – Health & Nutrition

Fartuun Abdullahi

Provides strategic leadership for the design, implementation, and monitoring & evaluation of CAAP’s Health and Nutrition programs.

Protection Manager – Women & Youth Empowerment

Hamda Hassen Mohamud

Leads the design, implementation, and monitoring & evaluation of Women and Youth Empowerment initiatives, with a focus on inclusion and sustainable livelihoods.

Gender and PSEA Coordinator

Farhia Mohamed

Ensures all CAAP programs and operations comply with safeguarding standards, including Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), Gender Equality, and Child Protection policies.

Operations Manager

Mohamed Farah

Oversees CAAP’s operational functions, including information technology systems, staff safety and security, and human resources and administration.

HR /Adm Coordinator

Leyla Abdi

Promotes a supportive and inclusive workplace culture, leads staff development initiatives, and ensures CAAP attracts, develops, and retains qualified personnel to effectively deliver its mission..

Finance Coordinator

Abdulahi Abdi

Manages CAAP’s financial systems and resources, including budgeting, financial reporting, expenditure monitoring, and compliance with donor and regulatory requirements.

Program Manager – Resilience

Ahmed M. Tahir

Oversees the design, implementation, and monitoring & evaluation of resilience and climate-adaptive programming to strengthen community self-reliance.
