From September 16–17, 2025, CAAP staff from the Programme, MEAL, Finance, and Supply Chain teams participated in the Cooperating Partner Refresher Training organized by WFP at the Skylight Hotel in Addis Ababa.
The training brought together partners to strengthen collaboration and improve delivery in key areas, including
Program Implementation (cash-based transfers, identity management, targeting & prioritization)
Monitoring and Reporting (Monitoring, qualitative & quantitative requirements, Partner Connect, CPDR quality, Best practice sharing)
Financial Management
Risk & Compliance (AFAC, incident management)
Cross-Cutting Issues (Accountability to Affected Populations, Gender, PSEA)
Food Commodity Management (Proper storage, documentation, distribution protocols; reporting and loss mitigation strategies)
This refresher was a great opportunity for CAAP to enhance skills, share experiences, and reinforce accountability in our partnership with WFP to better serve communities across Ethiopia.
